Skagit Valley Plein Air

I just finished a plein air workshop in Skagit Valley, offered through Gage Academy and led by Mitch Albala.  It was a fun time, and I would recommend Mitch to anyone interested in improving their process around painting.  He makes wonderful paintings, is a great communicator, and can scale his teaching for beginners or advanced painters.

Here's a few sketches I worked on.

Sculpture with Matt Buckner

Another class at Gage- this one was intro to figure sculpting with Matt Buckner.
Matt knows his anatomy.  I do not.  So it was informative, but also frustrating!
